Aker made Nkr11.2 billion ($1.8 billion) worth of sales in the first quarter, compared with Nkr10.3 billion in the first quarter of 2013.
Growth was driven by the US and Norway, but the company also achieved significant growth in the Asia Pacific.
Aker Solutions executive chairman Oyvind Eriksen said the Johan Sverdup contract helped the company.
