The AASE-14X ST infill production well was drilled to a depth of 10,000 feet and hit 20 feet of gross oil-bearing Shagar sand, at a depth of between 9610 and 9630 feet, with 16 feet of net pay.
The well also intersected 15 feet of gross oil-bearing Rahmi sand, between 9680 and 9695 feet, with 13 feet of net pay.
Concession partner Circle Oil said the well had been completed as a Rahmi producer, flowing at an initial test rate of 3486 barrels of oil per day and nearly 3.2
