The all-cash transaction, to be financed largely by loans, is set to bolster Alfa Laval’s current offering in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluids handling by adding Frank Mohn’s submerged pumping systems for offshore installations marketed under the Framo brand.
Bergen-based Frank Mohn, which generated sales of Nkr3.4 billion and had an order intake of Nkr6.1 billion last year, will be absorbed into the Swedish buyer’s marine & diesel division after the acquisition from Wimoh is finalised, subject to official approval.
