The maritime company, Upstream previously reported, is poised to carry out record-breaking heavy lifts with its huge Pieter Schelte decommissioning and pipelay vessel currently under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea.
The field includes the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta platforms with topsides weighing 16,000 to 30,000 tonnes. The structures stand about 186 kilometres off Lerwick, Scotland in 140 metres of water.
