The Scottish outfit, which itself has been on the acquisition trail in the past year, is going to Queensland-based ALS in a cash-plus-shares deal, the latter reported on Tuesday.
ALS put the value of the transaction at $533 million but said senior management at Reservoir, who will stay on after the deal is done, will convert about 50% of their equity stake in Reservoir into ALS shares.
