The results helped pushed Antero's quarterly production levels to a company record.
Antero said in its third-quarter results last year that it was transitioning to "shorter stage length" (SSL) completions on most of its Marcellus shale wells in the fourth quarter.
Antero has so far completed and placed on line 22 Marcellus wells using SSL completions that have at least 30 days of production history.
