The Calgary-headquartered explorer had previously been due to submit a plan by 31 January, but the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has agreed to revise the licence terms.
The Toronto-listed operator said it now expected to submit a completed environmental statement for the field to DECC by the end of next month.
“Engineering work will continue during the summer with field development plan approval prior to 31 August 2014,” Antrim Energy said.
