But the amount is far less than the $10.5 billion the Spanish major claims it is owed for its share of the company and would be in the inflation-prone Argentine peso, La Nacion reported Wednesday citing unnamed sources in the process.
As a result the move might well inflame political and economic tensions instead of advancing the settlement process.
