The company said on Friday it had wrapped up exploration in the Australian state of Queensland and the Northern Territory, with equipment being demobilised ahead of the rainy season.
The campaigns included the drilling of Lamont Pass-3, located Armour’s wholly-owned permit 190 in the Glyde sub-basin of the McArthur basin, Northern Territory. The probe was drilled to a total depth of 1275 metres last month and hit 520 metres of oil-bearing Barney Creek shale.
