A spokesman for Arrow confirmed to Upstream that the company has “conducted a review of staffing levels as it manages costs”.
He could not confirm the number of jobs to go, but according to the Australian Financial Review (AFR), up to 600 jobs could go, however, other Australian media outlets believe the number is closer to 250.
The AFR reported that managers were travelling to regional centres in Moranbah and Dalby to start the process of cutting jobs.
