The Fort Worth-based player's first horizontal well in the Midland basin,the TXL N 7-3-5H, flowed at a controlled peak 24-hour initial rate of 1661 barrels of oil equivalent per day with 80% oil.
The well was completed using a 20-stage hybrid fracture stimulation on a 4588-foot lateral in the Wolfcamp B zone. It flowed at a 30-day rate of 1200 boepd with 77% oil.
