AusGroup chief executive Laurie Barlow revealed to Upstream that the company was in ongoing discussions with Chevron regarding a potential scaffolding contract.
“We’re in discussions with them on scaffolding. Hopefully we secure some work there,” he said.
“We’re not in any finalized discussions; we’re still in bidding mode,” Barlow added.
AusGroup current work on the Gorgon project involves pipe spooling, and the company has also undertaken fabrication work in its Kwinana facility in Perth, Western Australia.
