The company had reported in mid-December that the well in its 100%-owned PEL 218 was flowing at a rate of 1.1 million cubic feet per day and rising.
Beach told the Australian Securities Exchange on Friday that the well had now delivered a peak controlled rate of 2.6 MMcfd and was currently flowing at 1.6 MMcfd on a 1.5-inch choke.
