RileyBechtel, who has served as the company's chief executive for nearly25 years, has stepped down from day-to-day operations as Bechtel'schief executive for undisclosed health reasons but will remain chairman of thecompany's board.

Bechtelrevealed that Bill Dudley, who has served as the company's presidentand chief operating officer since 2008, would take over the chiefexecutive role.

Itnoted that Dudley would be the first non-family member to serve asthe company's chief executive since it was founded 116 years ago.
