Trinidad is "unique", said Tim Cutt, the new president of BHP' petroleum division. He was speaking just weeks after BHP won four blocks in Trinidad's latest deep-water bid round.
"We've captured a highly prospective deep-water exploration position," Cutt told reporters in Houston. "We're extremely excited about this."
Cutt said Trinidad is "one of the bigger places" where BHP is focusing its exploration efforts.
