Three guest workers from the Philippines were killed and others injured after fire broke out last November at a facility in West Delta Block 32.
The Houston-based independent said in a statement it had landed an equity agreement from the New York-based Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage hedge fund.
The well-development project will cover proved undeveloped reserves and be part of a multi-year project.
