The ten onshore wells were shut-in at the start of May while clarification was sought from Thailand’s Agricultural Land Reform Office regarding development approvals for the wells. At the time, the wells were producing at a combined rate of about 465 barrels of oil per day.
Carnarvon had stated in late August that it expected the issue to be resolved that month or in early September, with output due to restart as soon as possible afterwards.
