YPFB will also get a boost from Bolivia’s government, which intends to devote $151 million to exploration efforts in the province, according to remarks made at the “Pact for La Paz” summit, an event designed to address questions including extreme poverty in the area.
“We’ve finished the seismic and have already defined the location for drilling in Lliquimuni Central,” Villegas said regarding the summit according to a YPFB statement.
