The Breda, Netherlands-based outfit – which has just acquired its domestic rival Fairstar Heavy Transport after a rancorous takeover battle – said Royal Boskalis Westminster had made an unsolicited tender offer for all outstanding shares at €17.20 per share cum dividend.
The price represents a 61% premium on Dockwise’s Friday close of €10.66 ($13.81), and a premium of around 30% on the company’s 12-month average stock performance.
