The UK supermajor is taking bids on 280,000 acres dottedwith 500 BP-operated wells producing about 24 million cubic feet of natural gasequivalent per day.
The acreage is in Sherman and Moore counties in the centralportion of the Texas Panhandle in the Hugoton trend.
“This part of the field is mature and better suited for acompany that specialises in late-life basin operations,” a BP spokesman said.“The
