BP ‘not looking beyond Rosneft’ in Russia

The UK supermajor is not, however, looking to pursue projects in Russia without Rosneft being involved in some form.

BP chief executive Bob Dudley had said at the company’s unveiling of its annual Statistical Review of World Energy in London on Wednesday that Russia remains an area of significant interest.

Although pointing out that BP is around a one-fifth shareholder in Rosneft, Dudley said the company was “looking at a variety of projects ourselves for BP” in Russia.
