The A-18D probe in Block Z-1 off had a seven-day natural average oil production rate of 2100 barrels per day with an 11% water cut, the Houston-based independent said on Wednesday.
Company stock was trading up up 10.93% on Wednesday morning in New York.
Production has improved further in the last 24 hours, with average production of 2250 bpd.
That brings total production at the Z-1 block, which also includes the Corvina field, to over 4900 bpd.
