Brazil's National Petroleum Agency (ANP) on Friday said the country produced 2.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in June, up from 2.48 million boepd during the same month in 2012.

That amounted to 2.1 million barrels per day of oil, up 3% from June 2012. Gas production increased 11% from June 2012 to 80 billion cubic metres per day, a new national record, the ANP said.
