The company carried out a wirelinetesting and coring programme on the well with the recovered cores containing evidence of live oil over a similar interval inthe Ungani dolomite to that seen in previous wells.
However, the testing programme also confirmedthe preliminary results last month that the reservoir was tight butcontained at least one zone with reservoir potential that Buru saidwould need further testing.
