The packages will be installed on the FPSOs Cidade de Marica and Cidade de Saquarema, which are currently being converted at China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s Chengxi yard in Guangzhou.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Upon completion, the vessels will set sail for the Petrobras-operated Lula Alto and Lula Central fields in BM-S-1 in the Santos basin. BG Group and Petrogal Brasil also hold stakes in the Lula field offshore Brazil.
