SDNPA chief executive Trevor Beattie told a public information meeting on hydraulic fracturing in Chichester that the explorer's environmental statement had omitted several significant details, according to the city's Chicester Observer.
The park authority chief said believed the application lacked details on noise,hydrology and geology as well as engineering aspects associated withborehole integrity, well drilling, well casing and testing.
Beattie said the information request “will, in effect, putthe Fernhurst application on hold while the applicant provides the additionalinformation we require”, adding the application wasnow unlikely to be considered before the summer, according to the newspaper.
