Central said on Thursday that it had received a Writ of Summons issued out of the Supreme Court of Western Australia from Heugh claiming against Henry Askin, Richard Faull, William Dunmore and the company for “false and defamatory statements” related to him.
Heugh alleges the defamatory statements appeared in an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange by Central, published on 11 May, that outlined the events that led to Heugh’s dismissal from the company and recommended shareholders vote in favour of his removal.
