Central said on Wednesday it had agreed to buy Rawson Resources’ 20% stake in EP97 in exchange for the placement of 50 million shares. This represents less than 4% of the issued share capital of Central.
Upon completion of the deal, Central will hold a 44% interest in the permit, while Australian gas major Santos continues to hold a 56% stake.
