The company told the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday it had signed a sale and purchase agreement with Indonesia’s state-owned energy company Pertamina for the sale of about 0.8 million tonnes per annum of LNG for a 20-year period.
Under the deal, Pertamina will buy the LNG on a free-on-board basis, which means Cheniere will deliver the gas onto Pertamina’s vessels.
