The duo said on Wednesday that US operator ConocoPhillips had awarded the two-year extension, worth about A$150 million (US$141.2 million), for the provision of operations and maintenance services.
The offshore Bayu-Undan field is located about 500 kilometres north-west of Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory in Australia.
Its facilities comprise a floating storage and offloading unit plus three fixed platforms – a remote wellhead platform, and a compression, utilities and quarters platform connected via a bridge to a drilling, production and processing platform.
