Inspectors from the energy division of the Health &Safety Executive (HSE) served the notice on Friday after flying to the platformto investigate a fire the previous weekend.
A spokesman said: “HSE can confirm that a prohibition noticewas served on CNR on Friday during the investigation into the fireincident aboard Tiffany on 6 April.
“HSE cannot comment further on this action as theinvestigation is still ongoing.”
