National Agency of Hydrocarbons (ANH) Director Orlando Cabrales told attendees at IHS Cera Week in Houston that the La Luna shale in Colombia’s Middle Magdalena valley is among the top prospects considered by companies seeking unconventional reserves.
“We believe there is very good potential,” Cabrales said in a news conference, adding that Caribbean drilling activity off the nation is expected to pick up in 2014 after a licencing round last year.
