During the company's analyst day presentation in New York on Thursday, the company said it now estimates its acreage in the Eagle Ford to hold about 2.5 billion barrels of oil in place, up from previous estimates of 1.8 billion barrels.
The Houston-based company expects to increase output from the Eagle Ford to 250,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day by 2017.
