The Oklahoma City-based company reported profits of $132.8 million in the three months to December,down from net income of $220.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.
The lower totals came as a result of higher impairments, taxes and production costs, as well as a $270.5 million charge on depreciation, depletion, amortisation and accretion, up from $192.3 million a year ago.
