Subsea specialist FMC Technologies will likely be among those potentially in the lurch. The Houston-based company announced last month that it had signed a deal with BP to manufacture subsea trees, manifolds and jumpers for the multi-billion-dollar project.
In news first reported by Upstream, the UK supermajor said this week that it was "reviewing existing plans and other options in evaluating how to develop" the Mad Dog field.
