Intermoor has towed the facility - a converted mobile offshore drilling unit previously known as the Rowan Midland - to Ingleside, Texas. It had been installed in Mississippi Canyon Block 711 in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico, about 72 kilometres off south-east Louisiana.
The decommissioning work was conducted in 910 metres of water and involved disconnecting 10 risers and 12 mooring lines.
