The Danish Energy Authority (DEA) has givenoil companies until 20 October to enter bids for acreage after the seventhround opened on Thursday.
The round follows the granting of approvalfor the measure by the Climate, Energy & Building Committee of Denmark’sParliament on 11 April.
Most of the offered areas are in theCentral Graben, where the majority of discoveries on the Danish continentalshelf have so far been made.
