The Norwegian independent is looking to diversify and expand its operations beyond its core Kurdistan patch as it targets a 30% increase in current production capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from its Middle East & North Africa portfolio by next year.
The company also has an ambitious goal to lift total output further to between 200,000 and 250,000 boepd by 2014 as it seeks to boost capacity at its flagship Tawke oilfield in Kurdistan to 100,000 barrels per day by the end of this year and to 200,000 bpd within two years.
