The New York-listed company did not provide any specific details on the operator of the project or the location. However, the contract was awarded to the company's wholly owned subsidiary serving the North Sea, Europe and Africa regions. A Dril-Quip spokesman was not immediately available to provide further details.
The contract is worth $110 million "based on current exchange rates", Dril-Quip said in a brief release on Monday.
