OffshoreInnovation Management (OIM) revealed on Sunday that it hadsigned the deal “to build a series of AJ 62-X135” accommodation andconstruction jack-ups, but did not specify how many.
Construction will start soon withdelivery of the first unit expected in the first quarter of 2016.
OIM chiefexecutive Oddgeir Indrestrand told Upstream the company has its eye firmly onthe North Sea market with the units.
