Licence holder Medex Petroleum of France will retain a 10%interest under the deal on Zaafrane, which spans more than 5000 squarekilometres of central Tunisia.
Based in The Hague, the new company’s chairman is Dutch entrepreneurEdward van Kersbergen, a former founding investor of Aberdeen-based engineeringfirm Xodus Group through venture capital firm Sunrise Energy.
