UK unlisted company Shale Energy had agreed in May this year to purchase the assets for nearly £10.1 million ($16.05 million) through the acquisition of Eden’s wholly-owned subsidiary Adamo Energy. The sale included Eden’s 50% stake in 17 licences in England and Wales, plus three wholly-owned licences in south Wales.
However, Eden terminated the deal in mid-August following a delay in Shale’s satisfaction of one of the conditions precedent under the agreed contract.
