The utility and exploration and productioncompany is looking to buy the Karish and Tanin fields from local player Delekand the US independent, a source close to the negotiations told Upstream.
The current owners of the fields – each ofwhich has a gas discovery – are being forced to sell their stakes by Israel’sAntitrust Authority, which is keen to reduce their dominance in the country’supstream sector.
