The company announced on 13 November that its electromagnetic vessel BOA Galatea had completed a one-year contract offshore Brazil.
EMGS has now extended its agreement with the state-owned oil company, with a new 3D electromagnetic data acquisition project expected to be completed early next month.
The BOA Galatea was built in 2009 by Bergen Group Fosen and is leased to EMGS on a long-term charter by BOA Offshore.
