Enbridge said its Line 3 replacementprogramme would complement its existing Line 3 segment replacementprogramme and include all remaining segments of Line 3 betweenHardisty, Alberta, and Superior.
It added that mainline shippers hadagreed to support charges on all barrels moving on the mainline inorder to help provide the additional capital required for theprogramme.
Enbridge said the capital costs onwhich the surcharges would be based would be finalised in the firstquarter of the year, adding that shippers would have the option tocancel the programme if the cost estimate exceeded its currentpreliminary estimates by more than 15%.
