The four new wells are part of the Wasambo drilling programme and will provide the initial feedstock gas supply for EWC's Sengkang liquefied natural gas project, the company said.
The first well Walanga-2 Twinning spudded on 18 September 2013 and will be followed by Sampi Sampi-1 Twinning, Walanga-1 Twinning and Walanga-3.
It is expected to take three months and should be completed around mid-December 2013, added the operator.
