Eni said on Friday that the deal would establish the foundation principles of a development programme under which the pair would conduct separate, yet coordinated, offshore activities spanning Anadarko’s Area 1 and the Eni-operated Area 4 off the coast of the African country.
In addition, the companies would team up to plan and construct common onshore liquefied natural gas liquefaction facilities in the Cabo Delgado Province of northern Mozambique, Eni said.
