As part of the deals, EQT will invest around $30 million this year in gathering infrastructure and $25 million in a transmission expansion project in eastern Washington County.

The expansion will add about 100 billion British thermal units per day of capacity to EQT's transmission system in south-western Pennsylvania. It is expected to be in service by 1 November.

The agreements include a fee-based, 10-year minimum volume commitment for gathering and transmission services.
