The company’s partly owned subsidiary EQT Midstream Partnership has agreed to buy the company’s Jupiter natural gas gathering system for $1.18 billion.

EQT will take $1.12 billion in cash from the agreement and $59 million worth of common and general partner units.

The partnership will fund the expansions related to Jupiter.

The Jupiter system gathers the company’s Marcellus shale production, moving about 970 million cubic feet per day.
