The company has also agreed to acquire a third unit fromIraq-focused Romanian Drilling (Romfor).
Eurasia is spending $23 million on the three units, a companyspokesperson told Upstream, with the purchase of the third a formality.
The company will also take on the contracts attached to allthree rigs. Although not revealing the identities of the charterers, thespokesperson said they are “large independent oil and gas companies in Iraq”.
